Why Vanderbilt?
I had heard good things about Vanderbilt from one of my high school friends who came here. Vanderbilt provides many academic opportunities and is also one of the top U.S. universities. In order to become a successful engineer, I believe the education I get at Vanderbilt prepares me for good job opportunities waiting for me.

Likes best about Vanderbilt Engineering:
All the professors and TAs really help students by having many office hours and help sessions, even though they also have their own research, study, etc. to do. I also like that I can get involved with the Vanderbilt community through engineering courses and projects.

Likes best about Vanderbilt Chemical Engineering:
I really enjoy being in chemical engineering. I have a group of awesome classmates who will face the same challenges with me until graduation day. They are super-duper nice, really friendly and help each other. Furthermore, chemical engineering at Vanderbilt provides me with the opportunity to do research, independent study and internships during the academic year and summer.

Likes best about Nashville:
Everyone knows that Nashville is a music city and country music is really famous around here. Nashville is also a small city where I can get to know the culture and lifestyle here.

What do you expect to do after graduation
I expect to get a good job where I can apply all the skills and techniques I have learned. Perhaps, with the experiences I gain from Vanderbilt and in the future, I can have my own company.
